This project which was officially launched on the 17th April 2005 at Maharlika Beachfront Reef.
Over 1300 domes and been installed with an eventual goal of over 3000. Chris Dearne from Tuna City Scuba Center and Cambridge Farm Hotel and John Heitz of Aqua Trade are the project founders. The are not yet using Reef Balls but the Reef Ball Foundation is working with Jukka Holopainen
Center for Environmental Awareness and Education to bring this worthy project up to world class standards.
